A Master's Degree from Stanford. More than twenty years of federal service. Considered an expert in his field. One thing that makes him the best at catching the head cases. He is one. Really want to know more? Chris Lipton is the head of the FBI's Special Cases Unit. He leads a team of five agents in tackling cases that don't get referred to other parts of the Bureau. On the job, he's a shrewd, slightly sarcastic veteran agent who's overworked and undermedicated. Not only is he squaring off against the criminals, but a boss who loves meetings, a therapist who wants inside his head, and the eccentricities of ordinary life. Anything and everything could possibly send him into a tirade. Underneath that tough exterior, though, is a man who hasn't wanted to do anything else. (Not even in elementary school. His first-grade teacher loved that.) He loves his loyal wife Holly, his snappy partner David, his slightly bewildered team, and the fact that he hasn't killed his arch-rival Brian Farrell just yet. (He's waiting until he wins the betting pool first.) |
